A full-time contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist located in Hayward, CA. This role is centered on providing psychological services within a school environment, supporting student development, and contributing to a collaborative educational team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs and inform intervention strategies.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Counsel students, helping them address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to design supportive learning environments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expert insights on student progress.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid California School Psychologist credential.
- Experience with psychological assessments and developing IEPs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Knowledge of educational laws and regulations related to special education.
