Job Title: CNA - LTC
Job Location: Edison, NJ
Type: Contract
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Days)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking CNA - LTC for an exciting Travel or Local job in Edison, NJ.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care per individualized care plans
- Assist with ADLs including hygiene, feeding, mobility, and grooming
- Perform vital signs, intake/output, and basic clinical monitoring
- Support ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Maintain skin integrity checks and patient safety
- Respond promptly to call bells and resident needs
- Assist with room care, bed making, and unit support tasks
- Document care and report condition changes to nursing staff
- Support residents across multiple units as needed
- Maintain safe, clean, and supportive environment
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey CNA license required
- Minimum 2 years LTC/subacute experience required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Willingness to work with COVID+ patients and float across units
- Ability to pass facility competency exam
- Strong communication and patient care skills
