Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, in-person Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Assistant is needed to cover a leave contract at an early childhood school in Meredith, NH. This opportunity runs from mid-January through the end of the school year, providing vital support for young learners with speech and language needs.
The position involves managing an elementary caseload, primarily working with students from PreK through 2nd grade. Due to the young age of the children, all services will be delivered in person to facilitate effective communication and therapy. The role offers a valuable chance to join an established team of speech/language pathologists, ensuring collaborative support and professional growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students in PreK to 2nd grade
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and other school professionals
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to intervention planning
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Assistant
