One of our clients in San Antonio, Texas is looking to bring on a Senior Accounting Analyst to their team immediately. Job Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Analyst \n
<ul>\n
<li>Prepare cost transfer entries on a monthly basis</li>
\n
<li>Participate in the monthly consolidated close, including extended work hours during close to meet deadlines</li>
\n
<li>Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP</li>
\n
<li>Prepare financial statements and related analyses</li>
\n
<li>Prepare account reconciliations for related accounts and resolve any discrepancies</li>
\n
<li>Execute internal controls to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP</li>
\n
<li>Support internal and external audits</li>
\n
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
\n</ul>
\nPreferred Qualifications of the Senior Accounting Analyst\n
<ul>\n
<li>Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred)</li>
\n
<li>1-2 years of accounting experience</li>
\n
<li>Strong project management skills - able to work on multiple projects concurrently</li>
\n
<li>Proficient with common PC software applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)</li>
\n
<li>Must be a U.S. citizen</li>
\n
<li>Deltek Costpoint software experience</li>
\n
<li>Government contracting experience</li>
\n</ul>
