Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality Control TechnicianResponsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager to uphold quality standards across the manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct regular inspections on the shop floor to verify product quality and compliance with standards.
  • Work closely with floor associates; assemblers, operators, and welders to ensure adherence to quality guidelines.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Communicate effectively with production-level associates to identify and resolve quality issues.

Essential Skills

  • Strong mathematical skills, comfortable with algebra.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted repeatedly throughout shifts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing quality inspection is a major plus.
  • Familiarity with CMM and Faro Arm technologies.
  • Understanding of shop math and close tolerances.

The facility operates on a first shift from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm,

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
