Location: Onsite
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant Credentialing Specialist for a 3 month or more contract role with a thriving healthcare company. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in medical terminology and physician credentialing, who are looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Utilize advanced knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment to ensure accurate credentialing.

Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, and other personnel, especially when conveying sensitive information.

Prepare for and manage all aspects of meetings, including minute-taking and follow-ups.

Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met within standardized policies and procedures.

Maintain the privacy of patients' protected health information (PHI) and adhere to Joint Commission Medical Staff Standards.

Collaborate with peers and other staff members to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.

Minimum of 2 years of recent relevant experience in medical/physician credentialing.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), electronic health records (EHR), EPIC, and related information systems.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to interpret various data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Skills and Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of medical terminology and procedures.

Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in an environment with interruptions.

Problem-solving skills to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard issues.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $66.00 per hour
