Customer Service Manager
Summary
Experienced and results-driven Customer Service Manager with a strong background in manufacturing. Skilled in leading high-performing teams, improving customer satisfaction, and driving operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities
Lead a High-Performing Team

Inspire, coach, and develop a team of Customer Service Representatives and Estimators to deliver best-in-class service.

Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Own the Customer Experience

Act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and proactive issue resolution.

Manage the entire customer journey—from order entry and estimating to delivery and inventory control—with a focus on speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment

Participate in daily production meetings and provide timely updates to ensure on-time delivery and operational alignment.

Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to support forecasting, pricing strategies, and performance objectives.
Improve Systems and Processes

Evaluate and enhance customer service workflows, tools, and metrics to increase efficiency and responsiveness.

Oversee customer accounts including pricing, specifications, shipping, and inventory, while identifying areas for process improvement.
Track Results and Make Data-Driven Decisions

Monitor and report on key service metrics and customer satisfaction KPIs to drive performance improvements.

Support sales planning through performance analysis, inventory planning, and data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Marketing, Business, or Communications) or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of experience in customer service or a related role within manufacturing.

Proven track record of managing people and driving performance in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and data-oriented.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience in the sheet metal or aerospace industry strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
