Job Location:

This role is 100% on-site in Washington, DC at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB).

Clearance:

Must have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Job Description:

In your role as an IT Auditor, you will evaluate Facilities, Logistics & Services (FLS) Internal Control Program (ICP) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs to identify control gaps, recommend improvements, and support the implementation of government-approved strategies that strengthen enterprise assurance across the operational environment. In this position, you will also:

  • Assist in implementing, directing, and overseeing reviews and assessments of internal controls across FLS business and operational functions.
  • Develop audit test scripts and perform testing to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Support FLS business and operational teams in preparing for audits and inspections conducted by the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
  • Collaborate with FLS stakeholders to review audit findings and support the resolution and closure of OIG recommendations.
  • Contribute to strengthening the internal control environment by supporting the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT audit within a government or commercial environment.
  • 1 year of experience evaluating internal controls and supporting audit activities related to IT systems, risk management, or compliance programs.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of IT governance, internal control frameworks, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Experience developing audit test scripts and performing control testing for design and operational effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) clients or environments.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies or tools such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM).
  • Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are desired, but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
