Minimum Qualifications

  • Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
  • Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • At least 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • A desire to continue learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care
  • Ability to address clinical needs as required by the office

Physical Requirements

  • Capability to perform essential duties as required by the office/doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill the essential functions of the role.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
  • To ensure a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This is a standard requirement and must be completed before starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, with necessary guidance provided. This requirement does not apply in Florida and Tennessee.
