Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Shape student success and support communication goals as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. This contract position is full-time in a school-based setting, where you will make a direct impact by working with children who have communication challenges affecting their ability to learn and thrive. Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive speech and language services tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough speech-language assessments for students referred for communication concerns
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students’ learning goals
- Deliver evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services within the school environment
- Monitor and document student progress with clear, ongoing communication to staff and families
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district documentation standards
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
- Consult with teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other related service personnel to facilitate student success in the classroom
- Adapt intervention strategies to meet evolving student needs throughout the school year
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Georgia SLP license and/or educator certification as required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred—CF applicants encouraged to apply
- Previous schools or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Collaborative, organized, and resourceful with excellent communication skills
