Job DescriptionSalary: $43 - 50,000 a year

We are a reputable residential electrical contractor looking for a skilled and dependable Dispatcher to join our Service Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the dispatch board, ensuring all service calls are scheduled efficiently, and supervising a remote Customer Service Representative (CSR). Your organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the dispatch board, ensuring service calls are assigned to the appropriate technicians in a timely manner.
  • Supervise a remote CSR, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, ensuring they have the necessary information to complete jobs accurately and efficiently.
  • Schedule service appointments based on customer needs, technician availability, and location.
  • Monitor and track job progress to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with troubleshooting or escalating customer concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, schedules, and technician activity.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or a similar administrative role, preferably in a service or trades environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using dispatching software and basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Service Titan).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
