We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead all kitchen operations in a high-end senior living community, delivering restaurant-quality dining experiences for our Independent Living and Assisted Living residents. In partnership with our Culinary Director, you will bring creativity, precision, and heart to every plate—balancing exceptional flavor, presentation, and nutrition while leading a dedicated culinary team with professionalism and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and develop Culinary staff including Sous Chef, Cooks, and Utility Workers
  • Plan menus and oversee daily food production and process improvement
  • Ensure high standards for food quality, presentation, sanitation, and food safety
  • Manage staffing schedules, payroll and overtime and prepare reports in ADP
  • Order food and supplies; manage inventory and food budget
  • Maintain compliance with H.A.C.C.P., ServSafe, and Board of Health standards
  • Support a positive, team‑focused kitchen culture

Qualifications

  • Culinary degree from an accredited program
  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef/ in high volume setting
  • ServSafe certification (H.A.C.C.P. required)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to meet physical demands of a professional kitchen
  • CPR/Heimlich certification a plus

Hours

Full-time, 40 hours per week. 8-hour shifts with scheduling between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, including every other weekend rotation.

Pay

$77,000 - $80,000/annually
