Job DescriptionLocation: Riviera Beach, FL 33404Working Schedule: Monday- Friday 2pm-10pmPay Rate: $20.00-$25.00 hourly
QualificationsA sound knowledge in the food environment and able to show good communication with man-management skills. (2 yrs. experience preferred in food manufacturing industry)Objective

• To produce high quality products safely and hygienically as per company GMP standards.
• To produce the correct quantity of product to fulfil planned requirements.
• To maximize the efficiency of the plant by immediately and formally reporting mechanical problems to the Engineers.
• To minimize costs particularly wastage of materials, packaging, energy, water and labor.
• Control staff utilization with the Production Manager.
• Report any issues with staff i.e. poor performance etc
• Report any Food Safety issues immediately.
• To maintain standards of hygiene, good housekeeping and good environmental practice by adequate supervision of production areas and production staff.
• To maintain good industrial relations, working closely with all other departments and communicating issues.
• To maintain standards of discipline and behavior amongst the staff.
• Giving staff clear directives regarding the work area.
• Controlling breaks and staff to be at their position of work for the correct start time.
• Ensuring end of shift handovers are completed by every operator and handover are seamless.
• Reporting any issues to the Production Manager immediately.
• To train and develop both departmental staff and potential supervisory staff so as to maintain a succession plan.
• To create a high level of awareness of the requirement to work in a safe manner to themselves and their work colleagues.
• Report all Health and Safety issues to the Production Manager immediately
• Liaising with laboratory daily to discuss bacteriological and chemical results and reacting when appropriate to maintain product quality & safety.
• Conduct regular meetings with the Production Manager to discuss KPI’s
• To ensure the correct procedures and work methods are being applied and production paperwork is completed correctly then filed and stored appropriately.

Lead the shift by example. Setting high standards in all the above areas. This will incorporate the need to work overtime were required to complete the days production.
