Job Description

Job DescriptionShape Every Product We Ship

On-site in White House, TN, you’ll be the quality voice that connects customers, the production floor, and our suppliers. As a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer, your day starts with a pulse check on customer portals and quality dashboards, then moves to the floor to troubleshoot, validate fixes, and fine-tune processes. By afternoon, you’re refining control plans, supporting a new product launch, or leading a Kaizen burst that unlocks measurable gains.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Start strong: Review customer quality metrics and messages, manage documentation, and ensure we meet all customer-specific requirements.
  • Be the quality hub: Field quality-related customer concerns, coordinate cross-functional responses, and drive timely, data-backed corrective actions.
  • Launch-ready: Prepare submissions and quality documentation for new product introductions, aligning supplier requirements and internal deliverables on schedule.
  • Control the process: Build and maintain control plans and inspection plans for existing and new products—adjusting based on performance data and learnings.
  • Supplier collaboration: Communicate expectations, review performance, and partner on improvements when supplier quality affects outcomes.
  • Floor-first problem solving: Lead root cause analysis (5 Why, SPC, QC tools) and implement corrective and preventive actions that stick.
  • Continuous improvement: Champion Lean, Kaizen, and other methodologies to reduce waste, improve yield, and stabilize processes.
  • Teach what you know: Deliver hands-on quality training for production and support teams (SPC, QC tools, Kaizen).
  • Audit and align: Conduct internal audits; help maintain ISO conformance and strengthen our quality management system.
  • Adapt: Take on other related duties to support the operation.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years in manufacturing (experience in the medical industry is preferred).
  • Fluency in quality assurance principles, manufacturing processes, and data-driven problem solving.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, project management, and ISO 14001 or similar standards.
  • Sharp analytical skills; comfortable interpreting data to drive process improvements.
  • Clear, confident communication and strong interpersonal skills—effective solo and on cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with PLEX or comparable ERP/QMS is a plus.

Who Thrives Here

  • Detail-obsessed problem solvers who take ownership of outcomes.
  • Professionals who enjoy collaborating with customers, suppliers, and teammates at every level.
  • Champions of continuous improvement and a culture of quality.
