About the Role:
The Outside Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by actively engaging with prospective and existing clients in the Vape and Smoke Shop industry. This position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that align with company offerings. The representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, presenting products or services effectively, and negotiating contracts to close sales. Success in this role directly impacts the company’s market presence and customer satisfaction levels. Ultimately, the Outside Sales Representative serves as the face of the company, ensuring a positive client experience and fostering long-term partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in outside sales or a similar client-facing sales role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel within assigned sales territories.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic proficiency with ADP, Shopify and Lightspeed / CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience selling in the Vape and Smoke Shop industry relevant to the company’s products or services.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Advanced knowledge of CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or field-based environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects to present products and services.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets within assigned territories.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and product development to ensure client needs are met.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and expand professional networks.
