Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments for various production runs.
• Operate presses and auxiliary equipment to produce parts according to specifications.
• Monitor machine operation and conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to standards.
• Diagnose and resolve minor press malfunctions and operational issues.
• Execute routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of press machinery.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, procedures, and quality guidelines.
• Complete production logs, quality reports, and other required documentation accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and making precise adjustments to machinery.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.
• Understanding and adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift certification
• Basic welding or fabrication experience
• Experience with advanced quality inspection tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S methodologies
• Prior experience training or mentoring new operators
