About the Role:

The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the overall mission of our HVAC/Plumbing/Generator services company by managing various HR functions that contribute to a positive workplace culture. This position is responsible for implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering employee engagement. The HR Generalist will serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with management to identify staffing needs and assist in the recruitment process, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent in the our industry. Ultimately, the HR Generalist will help create a productive work environment that aligns with our organizational goals and values.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ADP

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Administer employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and facilitating conflict resolution.

Skills:

The required skills for this role include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for effectively interacting with employees and management. Organizational skills are crucial for maintaining accurate employee records and managing multiple HR functions simultaneously. Problem-solving skills will be utilized to address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
