We offer private infusion suites at our office in SW Portland, Oregon. Our second office in Eugene opened early 2024 and is allowing us to expand our reach of care to more communities along the coast, in the Willamette Valley and in Southern Oregon. Our home infusion services provide patients the option of receiving care from the comfort of their home.

We are recruiting a Patient Scheduler to join our team of health care professionals. As a Patient Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating nursing visits at home and AIC’s ensuring timely delivery of infusion services.
Job type: Full-time
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
Pay range: $22.43 - $28.05 hourly, depending on experience

Position responsibilities:
- Schedule patient infusion therapy appointments, including initial start-of-care visits and ongoing nursing services.
- Coordinate delivery of infusion medications and supplies with the pharmacy and intake team.
- Communicate with patients and caregivers to confirm appointment availability, educate them on upcoming visits, and address any logistical concerns.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of all scheduled visits and patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Monitor nursing staff availability and patient needs to optimize schedules and coverage.
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, or missed appointments.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, hospital discharges, or therapy changes that impact scheduling needs.
- Collaborate with intake and clinical teams to transition patients smoothly from hospital to home care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company privacy policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Represents the company in a positive and professional manner.
Required skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Experience in scheduling, home health, or infusion pharmacy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Medical terminology knowledge or coursework.
- Comfortable working with patients, caregivers, and clinical staff.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer skills that include word processing, and efficient use of the internet and email.
- Strong communication skills in speaking, writing, and telephone presence.
- Ability to recognize and direct information to the appropriate team member.

- Proficiency in standard workplace software and/or information management applications.
- Prior experience working in an infusion pharmacy or healthcare setting.
- Ability to navigate computer applications.
