Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400/week
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an inpatient hospital assignment in Cheraw, SC.

This position involves evaluating and treating patients with mobility, strength, coordination, and functional impairments. The Physical Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices and collaborate closely with therapy staff and interdisciplinary teams.

This role is ideal for therapists seeking experience in a rural hospital inpatient setting with a consistent weekday schedule.

Requirements

  • Active South Carolina Physical Therapist License — REQUIRED
  • BLS Certification (AHA) — REQUIRED
  • Experience evaluating inpatient physical therapy patients
  • Ability to develop individualized therapy plans
  • Strong knowledge of APTA documentation standards
  • Ability to supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

    Patient Population

    Therapist will treat:

    • Inpatient rehabilitation patients
    • Post-surgical recovery patients
    • Patients with mobility limitations
    • Strength and functional rehabilitation cases
    • Neurological and orthopedic conditions

    Clinical Responsibilities

    The Physical Therapist will:

    • Evaluate patients using specialized testing procedures
    • Assess strength, mobility, coordination, and functional ability
    • Develop individualized treatment plans
    • Perform therapy treatments safely and efficiently
    • Supervise PTAs and coordinate treatment goals
    • Provide patient and family education
    • Maintain documentation according to APTA standards
    • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
    • Maintain safe and organized treatment environments
