Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our team in the fast-growing K–8 STEM education marketplace. This role is focused on selling engaging, hands-on STEM activity solutions that bring learning to life in classrooms, after-school programs, and special events. The ideal candidate thrives on building relationships, exceeding sales goals, and making a lasting impact in education by empowering teachers, schools, and organizations with innovative STEM resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, contact, and qualify leads within the K–8 education sector (schools, districts, after-school programs, community organizations, and enrichment providers).

  • Manage a high volume of outbound calls and emails daily to generate new opportunities and build a healthy sales pipeline.

  • Present and promote STEM activity solutions to educators, administrators, and program coordinators through virtual meetings, phone calls, and email campaigns.

  • Collaborate with school leaders and organizations to understand their needs and recommend tailored STEM solutions for classrooms, after-school programs, and special events.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.

  • Partner with the marketing and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and continued satisfaction of new accounts.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, STEM education initiatives, and competitive products to effectively position our solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in inside sales, account management, or business development (education or edtech experience a plus).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.

  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Passion for education, STEM learning, and making a positive impact in schools and communities.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
