Job DescriptionPosition Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Supervisor, Accounting and Reporting to lead the accounts payable function and support financial reporting activities. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial operations and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise accounts payable processes, including invoice coding, approvals, and disbursements.

  • Review reconciliations and maintain organized financial records.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and variance analyses.

  • Lead budgeting processes and support external audits.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

  • Oversee accounting activities for affiliated entities or departments.

  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial accounting/reporting, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).

  • Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
