Job DescriptionExciting Opportunity for an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician
Our organization is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology physician to join a well-established practice in Mason City, Iowa. This position offers a dynamic environment with immediate patient volume and flexible scheduling options for both full-time and part-time roles, ensuring a great work-life balance.
Practice Overview
- Join a collaborative team consisting of 1 OBGYN, 4 OB Hospitalists, 2 midwives, and 4 Advanced Practice Providers.
- Experience a busy practice with approximately 1,000 births per year.
- Work in a newly renovated clinic located on the main campus, conveniently close to Labor & Delivery, Lab, Pharmacy, and Radiology, with access to Perinatology consultations.
- Utilize 2 Da Vinci XI robots with designated OR block time.
- Benefit from a Level II NICU staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Hospitalists and NICU Nurses, along with an on-site blood bank.
- Engage in teaching opportunities with Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students.
- Access in-house specialists for collaboration in patient care, including Cardiology, Orthopedics, and more.
- Enjoy a supportive relationship with MercyOne Des Moines Perinatology for high-risk obstetric management.
Candidate Qualifications
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, with certification required within 3 years of eligibility.
- H1B and J1 Visa Waiver candidates are encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a highly competitive recruitment package that includes:
- $400,000 annual income guarantee plus productivity incentives.
- A bonus package totaling $250,000.
- A sign-on bonus of $120,000.
- Relocation assistance up to $15,000.
- 34 days of paid time off (PTO) when on base; 40 days when on production.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance of $6,000.
