Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Fresno, CA, serving local schools with a focus on managing diverse speech caseloads. This role requires a dedicated professional with at least two years of California school experience and one year of SEIS (Special Education Information System) experience to support students effectively within an educational setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP - CCC preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in California schools
- At least 1 year of SEIS experience
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators is preferred
- Proven ability to manage high caseloads and referrals
- Candidates who are Credentialed Fellows (CFs) are welcomed
- Commitment to onsite work is essential; this is not a telehealth position
Location:
- Fresno, CA area with assignment at Alpha Elementary School
Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, with 25-30 students focused on speech-only services
- Collaborating with SLPAs to provide comprehensive speech therapy support
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation consistent with district protocols
- Serving as a resource and advocate for students requiring speech-language services during the full school year
