At Valley Women's Health, we strive to provide outstanding health care to women of all ages. Our nursing team must be friendly, professional, outgoing, proactive, and able to deal with stressful situations on the fly. We are looking for a PART TIME RN to join our nursing team.
Job Functions:
- Talking to and assisting patients over the phone and via online chat.
- Performing nurse visit appointments (These include but are not limited to: urine cultures, blood pressure checks, injections, staple removals, and fetal heart tones)
- Monitoring patients during Non-Stress Tests and performing Amniotic Fluid Index ultrasounds.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to work as a nurse in the state of Utah and be able to pass a background check.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, push and/or carry up to 10 pounds
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Demonstrate excellent computer, telephone and communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service, organization and attention to detail.
- Must be a team player. The nurse team works really well together and depends on one another to get the job finished in a thorough and timely manner.
- OB/GYN office experience and Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
Hours:
- Hours may vary, generally from 8:15 am - 5:00 pm.
- For this position, we are specifically looking for a nurse that can work Mondays and Fridays. Then be PRN Tuesdays - Thursdays.
- Off weekends and most federal holidays.
- Shifts may vary each week but the schedule is out a month+ in advance.
