HOURLY PAY: $21.12
This position reports to the Admissions Technology Specialist and supports the development and maintenance of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, Slate. The Admissions Technology Specialist provides support to functional users in day-to-day management of CRM functionality in support of admissions initiatives including event management, query and report development, communication support, and maintenance of admission application development.
The Admissions Technology Coordinator is responsible for working with admissions leadership to identify processes that require improvement and suggests innovative enhancements and
solutions that support admissions goals and initiatives. The person in this position will work
closely with the admissions team to meet the short- and long-term goals of the department by
utilizing Slate for managing prospective students through matriculation.
Essential Functional Responsibilities:
Slate Student Record and Application Management:
- Create/Update fields, prompts, interactions, application processes, materials, checklists, forms, corresponding communications, application review, closing processes, reports and queries
- Supports external and internal portals and make updates to content
- Maintains quality assurance and control, including merging duplicate records
- Processes physical and digital application materials
- Other duties as assigned
Communication & Marketing Management
- Update and facilitate communications related to applications, events, digital campaigns to students, educators, parents
Events & Interviews
- Assist with event creation, management, and communications
- Processes and prepares school visit communications
- Facilitate virtual event training and live support
- Build event landing pages, portals, and/or embedded forms
- Maintain counselor portal with Slate.org
Technical Integrations
- Facilitate bridge and manual load processes to SIS (Jenzabar) when necessary
- Maintain internal portals
- Assist with access/deactivation of users within the Slate and other technology tools
Training & Support
- Create and maintain SOPs as reference guides on department operations and Slate functions
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Slate errors

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Ability to use the latest computer equipment and programs being used by the division. Including, but not limited to:
- Microsoft office suite products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Keynote.
- Database management
- Google Suite
- Must have strong attention to detail as well as strong administrative, computer, organizational skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and function autonomously as well as work with a team.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to monitor own work for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to shift priorities as required.
- Ability to work a minimum of 37.5 hours a week, plus occasional evenings and weekends.
- Excellent writing, communication, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to produce deliverables independently.
Required Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Experience/Education:
- Two years of experience in college or university admissions process
- Experience with Slate and/or other CRMs
- Experience with Jenzabar
- Basic HTML & SQL skills
