We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client on a contract basis in Hayward, California. This role is ideal for someone skilled in managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing detailed financial statements. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data and supporting the office management team.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile transactions across multiple accounts, including bank accounts and credit cards.
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to manage bookkeeping tasks efficiently.
• Prepare clean and organized financial packages for audits and reporting purposes.
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Collaborate with office management and third-party consultants to support financial operations.
• Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial data.
• Generate detailed financial statements and reports for internal review.
• Work closely with team members to address discrepancies and improve financial workflows.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Ability to reconcile multiple bank accounts and credit cards.
• Experience preparing financial statements and audit packages.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and consultants.
