Automotive Key Account Manager | Detroit Hybrid | $135,000 base plus 50% bonus

What’s the offer:
1. Salary: $120,000-$150,000 base plus bonus potential.
2. Location: Detroit area, hybrid role.
3. Travel: Mainly local and regional customer site visits with international opportunities.
4. Opportunity: Strategic role in an essential business area with realistic potential for advancement.
5. Technology: Single station to Full Turnkey Assembly and Test Lines for Powertrain and Vehicle Operations in the Automotive Segment. Growth into Aerospace.
About the role:
1. You will manage Key Automotive Customer Accounts, promoting High Speed Assembly Lines, Precision Gauging, Balancing, and End of Line Testing.
2. This position is both new business development and account management.
3. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and increasing momentum in VO and Powertrain segments, identifying new RFQ opportunities, building stronger relationships with customers, and being integral part of a true TEAM Orientated Company.
4. You will focus on the Customer, technical engagement, and creating awareness of high-value/high-speed assembly and test solutions inside and outside of the organization.
We’re looking for:
1. Disciplined, Motivated Automotive Capital Equipment Sales Professional that is concentrated on relationship building, technical ability to understand and explain machinery, can vet an RFQ, convey a clear explanation of opportunity, and the ability to build Trust with a Customer Base.
2. You have a sense of Urgency because you are a Leader, are a confident speaker, a storyteller, and possess excellent time management skills.
3. Sales background with proven experience managing or developing key accounts, ideally with exposure to automotive customers, similar capital equipment or automation.
4. Strong technical aptitude. You must be comfortable with technical concepts and eager to learn and suggest a better way.
5. Proactive, self-motivated, and highly presentable. You are ready to represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
