Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an immediate impact supporting middle school learners as a full-time paraprofessional in a school setting. Provide essential 1:1 and small group support to students ages 12-14, including those with special education needs. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 5, 2026, offering consistency within a dedicated educational environment.

Enjoy a regular schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Take advantage of two paid 15-minute breaks each day, as well as a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer hands-on assistance and attention to students, both one-on-one and in small group settings
• Support academic, behavioral, and social goals according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster positive, inclusive classroom environments for students age 12-14
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to implement learning strategies
• Assist with daily classroom tasks and adapt activities for diverse learners
• Help promote independence and life skills for students with varying needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or support teaching in a middle school setting
• Background supporting students with special education needs or working directly with IEPs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and student engagement
• Patience, flexibility, and genuine commitment to helping students thrive
