Where You'll Come In:

We are seeking a General Machinery / Manufacturing Mechanic to join our team at our Hicksville, NY location.

This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment and who enjoys problem-solving and maintaining machinery.

The General Machinery / Manufacturing Mechanic will play a key role in ensuring the functionality of our manufacturing processes, contributing to our commitment to quality and efficiency.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Equipment Maintenance & Repair:

• Diagnose and repair industrial and manufacturing equipment, including printers, conveyors, confectionery, and packaging machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures.

Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution:

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and implement timely solutions.  
• Collaborate with team members to optimize machinery performance and enhance production capability.

Safety & Organization:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.  
• Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately for future reference.

You Have:

• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing industrial / manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with printers, conveyors, packaging and confectionery machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed to the highest standards, maintaining equipment integrity.
• Detailed accuracy to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Fluent or conversational Spanish (a plus).
