Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time registered nurse with a focus on the operating room is needed for a 13-week contract assignment in York, Maine. This position offers a Monday through Thursday schedule, consisting of four 9-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 4:15 pm, totaling 36 hours per week. The role includes call responsibilities.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience is preferred.
- Proficient in circulating and scrub roles within the operating room.
- Strong orthopedic surgical experience is essential.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during surgical procedures within the operating room.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Manage circulating and scrub duties with precision and adherence to protocols.
- Respond promptly and efficiently during on-call periods.
