Job Description
A sign installer's job is to install, maintain, and remove various types of signage both indoors and outdoors
- Installation: Transport signs, tools, and materials to the job site, prepare the site, and install signs in accordance with company standards and protocols
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on signs, such as replacing bulbs and repairing damaged components
- Removal: Remove signage from one locations and install new
- Communication: Communicate with clients and project managers to ensure that installations meet their specifications and expectations
Relatable skillsets include:
- Mechanically inclined
- Can work with hand and power tools
- Reading tape measures and working with a level line
- Not afraid to work in outside in 4 seasons of weather conditions
- Not afraid of heights
- Willing to work off a ladder yet mostly with a bucket lift
- Personable and willing to learn
- Wanting to be part of a team but can work individually and self motivate
- Can lift objects over 40lbs both with and without assistance
- Basic Electrical knowledge is a plus but not necessary
