Position Details:
Position: Part-Time Dental Assistant
Schedule: Part-time (Monday and Wednesday 8:30am-5:30pm, with additional hours during training) Potential for full-time if candidate is suitable to cross train in the business center.
Compensation: $18-$25 per/hr, dental benefits, PTO, 401k, uniform allowance
Location: Caledonia, MI
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take digital X-rays and impressions as needed
- Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental
- Help create a welcoming and comfortable patient experience
- Support team members and contribute to a positive office culture
Qualifications:
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Organized, dependable, and coachable
- Passion for patient care and teamwork
