Job Summary

Set up and operate a variety of machine tools including and not limited to 200-ton press, 40-ton press, Landis threading units, Bridgeport station, bench grinders, Piranha Ironworker and various dies and fixtures to produce precision parts to established specifications and ensure that machine is not Malfunctioning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and operate fabrication equipment such as saws, presses, brakes, welders, grinders, and hand tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to meet project specifications
• Perform general fabrication tasks including drilling, grinding, fitting, and finishing
• Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards
• Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Assist with material handling, staging, and inventory as needed
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
