JOB TITLE:
Service Coordinator
FUNCTION: Operations
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
REPORTS TO: Field Service Manager
LOCATION: Houston, TX
JOB SUMMARY
The Service Coordinator will play a critical role in coordinating the deployment of our field service technicians to various job sites, ensuring timely response to client requests, and maintaining efficient communication channels between field personnel and management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities are inclusive but not limited to the items listed below:
1. Dispatch Coordination:
- Communicate with clients for scheduling of equipment and personnel.
- Coordinate with field service technicians to schedule and them to appropriate job sites.
- Ensure that technicians are equipped with necessary tools, equipment, and materials for each assignment.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing jobs and make necessary adjustments to schedules as needed.
- Keep job reports up to date
- Create jobs with required information in the ERP system.
- Keep track of tech’s time off and availability.
- Communicate with facility manager on upcoming jobs and equipment needs.
- Scheduling logistics of equipment to and from location.
- Conduct HSE rig site audits on active rigs.
- Perform field site performance evaluations on MPD techs.
- Report and escalate if required all NPT incidents to senior management.
2. Communication Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between field personnel, clients, and management.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of service requests and estimated arrival times of technicians.
- Relay important information, instructions, and changes in schedules to field technicians promptly.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
3. Resource Optimization:
- Coordinate the allocation of resources, including manpower and equipment, to maximize operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve resource utilization to meet service objectives.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, dispatch activities, and job status updates.
- Generate reports on service performance, response times, and resource utilization.
- Assist in the preparation of field invoices and job folder creation.
- Audit DDR’s and DT daily for discrepancies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in dispatching, scheduling, or logistics coordination, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in using computer systems (Excel, Word, Visio), and software applications (ERP, QMS, HRIS, and HSE programs).
- Knowledge of oilfield operations, equipment, and terminology is desirable.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, well-informed decisions to address unforeseen challenges or changes in plans.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to be on call 24/7.
- Flexibility to travel to and from field locations and or other Stasis facilities.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
