Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment in Marin County, requiring an active CA PT license and at least one year of home health experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Home health setting covering Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties, with possible expansion as needed
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with one weekend per month rotation
- Productivity expectation is 30 points per week, equating to approximately 40 hours per week
- Patient load and visit mix designed to average 8 hours per workday
- Requires prioritization of start of care visits and supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants
- Uses Kinnser for documentation; experience preferred
- iPad and Verizon One Talk equipment issued for work-related tasks
- Responsibilities include start of care visits, recertifications, resumption of care, revisits, and OASIS documentation
- Mandatory communication and responsiveness with supervisor, intake, and office staff during business hours
- Three-day orientation provided, including one day in-house and two days in the field
- Mileage, parking, and tolls reimbursed; option for company car available at alternate pay rate
- Caseload structure and productivity are based on a points system reflecting visit type complexity

- Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license required; license required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including timely completion of clinical notes within 48 hours
- Ability to supervise and support Physical Therapy Assistants
- Must maintain reliable transportation to service multiple counties
- Next-day reporting of start of care visits required
