POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for utilizing all available technology in the design and/or configuration of total building control systems. This position's emphasis is on the creation of the lowest total installed cost-effective system that meets customer expectations and quality control.
This individual responds to engineering projects and design implementation as directed by Client Services Lead Engineer. This person will be lead resource for assembling and submitting on designed materials for procurement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer skills – Excel, Word, AutoCAD
- Background in any of the following desired: JCI, Trane, Alerton, Siemens, Honeywell, Distech, Niagara, or similar
- Working knowledge in control theory, building automation systems, HVAC and other building subsystems
- 2+ Years of strongly relevant experience, 5+ years in the Building Automation Systems and Controls industry preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides AutoCAD drafting support for various reliability projects (Software and computer will be provided)
- Material procurement – includes assembly of Bill of Materials, validation of materials received and reconciliation of materials returned from projects to stock
- Maintains project file creation and storage of all drawings, backups and documentation from commissioning/field
- Field verification site visits on design as directed by Client Services Lead Engineer
- Assembly of as-built drawings and delivery to customers upon completion of project
- Assumes personal and professional responsibilities for his/her actions and activities
- Maintains a professional relationship with supervisor, fellow employees, and others
- Maintains consistency and punctuality in a submission of all work assignments to their supervisor

Working Conditions:
Works in an indoor office environment. Periodic site visits to evaluate design & project requirements.
Physical Demands:
Typically, may sit comfortably to perform the work. However, the candidate must be able to stoop and bend on a frequent basis. Occasionally, may be required to perform moderate lifting of up to 25-50 lbs. Good hearing, vision, and depth perception are required. Must be able to enter processing units, climb and maneuver around equipment for troubleshooting.
Pay Scale: $85,000 - $100,000/year starting pay
