About the Role:
Finzer Roller seeks an experienced first shift Machinist.The Machinist plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process utilizing machining techniques to produce high-quality components.
Specific responsibilities for the Machinist will include:
- Repair steel or aluminium cores using manual lathes
- Minimum 2-3 years of manual lathe experience
- Review blueprints or job orders to determine tooling instructions
- Calculate machine speed and feed ratios, and the size/ position of cuts
- Mount, install, align, and secure tooling on machines using hand tools and precision measuring equipment
- Monitor machines to ensure proper functionality; adjust machines as needed
- Focus on quality output
Qualifications:
- 3+ years machinist experience.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment and strong math skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Welding experience a plus.
Pay and Benefits Offered:
$29 - $34 per hour, PTO, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, life, 401k + match, paid uniforms, paid weekly.
