Experienced staff required who have Housekeeping and Front Desk management with the occasional maintenance help and can put in hours at the restaurant once open. References will be required and police check is mandatory. Option to rent room at location available for individuals re-locating
- Open & flexible availability to include weekends and holidays.
- Shift ends when all work is completed.
- Detail oriented and hard working attitude is key.
- Housekeeping & Front Desk Backup when needed.
- Cleaning rooms and making beds.
- Empty and clean waste cans and replaces liners in waste cans. (inside and outside).
- Cleaning and polish tables, fixtures, furnishings, and woodwork.
- Cleaning, washing, and disinfecting bathroom sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, and floors, and polishes chrome bathroom fixtures.
- Cleaning windows and mirrors in bathrooms, entrance/exit ways etc.
- Cleaning floors sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping etc.
- Vacuums carpets and sweeping upper walkway/stairways (rain or AC water).
- Sweeping outside walls/floors during mayfly season.
- Spot cleaning walls and ceilings as needed.
- Cleaning outside go sweep cigarette butts and any garbage on parking lot/premises.
- Picking full garbage, adding new bags and taking garbage to waste bin on site.
- Ensures that work areas are clean (i.e. cart, supplies area) and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are in proper working order.
- Checking and tightening nuts if toilet seat lose.
- Restocking cart and emptying out the vacuum dirt.
- Ensures that an adequate supply of housekeeping and cleaning supplies are maintained and to inform management when they are running low.
- Ensures that quality assurance, infection control, and universal precaution practices are maintained when performing housekeeping procedures.
- Reports any damage or repairs to facilities, supplies, or equipment needing done to the supervisor/manager.
- Fix minor repair e.g. tightening screw of toilet seats if loose etc.
- Willingly share observations and insights of departmental operations that may improve quality and efficiencies of department.
- Attends meetings and train any new employees.
- Front Desk when needed (carry/answer phone and enter information in system, greet clients and process)
- Listen and respond to resident and staff members as needed.
- Honoring visitor personal and property rights when performing housekeeping duties (police check will be required).
- Administration of reporting your hours accurately and checking in/checking out customers when required as front desk staff.
- Helping with Laundry duties when required.
- Maintain current and accurate records through use of computers and/or other documentation in accordance with company standards and federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Help out during low peak periods with things like painting, low level maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Could lead to Full Time Salary role depending on performance.
- There is a restaurant/bar onsite (currently closed). Willingness to gain experience in that area if its running.
- Should be willing to relocate closer or to the motel.
