Deck Hand: Candidate needs to be comfortable working on the river in all weather conditions (Rain/sleet/snow/cold/hot). Good balance and sturdy footing is needed for a safe work day. Needs to have knowledge of equipment and perform duties assigned by pilots. Must know how to lay lines and build tow for barge transport. Must be able to follow instruction for tasks given and retain the information when the same tasks are needed in the future. Needs to be self-motivated and stay busy. Must be able to ride on Line boat 4-5 days every 2 weeks.

Job Requirements:
- Candidate must have 2 years deckhand experience with working knowledge how to maintain a operating vessel.
- Be able to stay on feet for there shift, and able to get into confined spaces to patch barges.
- Be able to carry barge rigging, cables, and gas pumps. These will exceed 50 lbs.
Must be able to Pass a urine and a Hair Follicle Drug test which goes back 4-6 months.
