We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Collierville Tennessee area. In this position, you will play a vital role in managing invoice processing and reconciliation tasks while collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in accounts payable processes, and eager to contribute to process improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Process a high volume of invoices daily, including drop shipments and stock items, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Match purchase orders with inventory receipts to maintain accurate records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts, utilizing problem-solving skills to identify root causes.
• Perform reconciliations to address backlogs and support audit requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and quality teams to streamline workflows and resolve issues.
• Analyze and implement solutions to improve accounts payable processes.
• Utilize software tools effectively, including basic Excel functions such as formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs.
• Support inventory management tasks by coordinating with internal teams.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication across departments to address challenges and drive efficiency.
• Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice coding and processing.
• Familiarity with three-way matching and resolving account discrepancies.
• Proficiency in using Excel for basic functions and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume invoice processing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills to handle audit findings and reconciliation tasks.
• Comfort in asking questions and suggesting improvements for workflow optimization.
