Chef / Kitchen Lead — Terramar Brewstillery (Edison, WA)

Compensation: $22–$26/hr DOE + 30% BOH tip pool (avg. $6–$9/hr)
Schedule: Full-time (35–45 hrs/week), Friday, Saturday, Sunday required

Terramar Brewstillery is a locally focused brewery, cidery, and distillery in the heart of the Skagit Valley. We serve wood-fired pizzas, small bites, and salads inspired by the incredible farmers and producers of our region. We're looking for a hands-on Chef/Kitchen Lead who loves local food, leads by example, and thrives in a creative, collaborative kitchen.


Position Summary:

  • Lead all kitchen operations: systems, recipes, inventory, ordering, cleanliness, organization, quality control, scheduling, and staff training
  • Manage food costs/margins and maintain high quality standards while consistently striving for improvements
  • Build relationships with local farmers and create seasonally driven menu items
  • Develop recipes, plating standards, and portion guidelines
  • Guide staff through busy periods with a positive attitude, leading as the expo and working any station (prep, line, dish, etc.) as needed.
  • Effectively and with positivity, manage and lead all kitchen staff, holding them accountable to standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, well-organized kitchen following WA State & Skagit County Health Dept. guidelines


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years culinary experience; 2+ years kitchen management; dough/pizza experience preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience with budgeting, ordering, COGs, and recipe development
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, stay positive, and support, lead, and manage a team
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • WA Food Handler’s Card + valid driver’s license
  • Passion for local food and seasonal cooking
