Schedule Requirements:

  • Must be available to work weekdays morning shift 10am to 5pm
  • Weekend availability desired

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Line Cook with a passion for Caribbean cuisine. You will help prepare dishes and support kitchen operations during busy times. Must be a kitchen professional and willing to prep and clean during down times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Caribbean menu items such as jerk chicken, oxtail, curry goat, plantains, and rice & peas
  • Set up and maintain clean, organized cooking stations
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards for consistent quality
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with prep work and kitchen cleaning as needed
  • Work efficiently during peak hours and as part of a team

Requirements:

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Caribbean flavors and techniques is a plus
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and follow directions
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Food handler certification (or willingness to get one)
