Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the uping school year in a K-12 public school setting in Lees Summit, MO. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with IEPs across K-12 grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with students, parents, and support staff
- Maintain progress documentation and municate student needs regularly
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and support inclusive learning
- Engage professionally with colleagues and families to promote student growth and inclusion
Qualifications:
- Valid Missouri Special Education teaching credentials
- Proven experience managing caseloads in self-contained, inclusion, or resource settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent organizational and munication skills
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and mitment to continuous professional growth
