Job DescriptionRecruiter Job Responsibilities:
Achieves staffing objectives by assessing staffing needs, evaluating job candidates, and coordinating interviews.
Recruiter Job Duties:

Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss specific position responsibilities

Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.

Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.

Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.

Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicants to interviews.

Ensures that hires are in align with Corporate budget by conferring with HR Manager and CFO as appropriate.

Initiating pre-employment screenings as necessary.

Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.

Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Recruiter Skills and Qualifications:

Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency based, etc)

Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc)

Ability to organize job assessments and job descriptions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong decision making skills

Bachelor's degree from an accredited University preferred

Minimum 5 years experience in a proven recruiting role
