Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services in a hospital setting located in Vail, Colorado. This 13-week contract role offers a rotating shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week with guaranteed 32 hours. Ideal candidates will bring a minimum of one year of MRI technologist experience along with a commitment to accurate and compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic MRI and X-ray examinations following established protocols.
  • Review images for technical quality and ensure accurate patient identification and exam order alignment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to maintain seamless patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, including radiation protection and infection control.
  • Utilize hospital information systems and PACS for documentation and image management.
  • Monitor and replenish imaging supply inventory.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality under HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting department operations and patient care quality.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum one year of MRI technologist experience preferred; healthcare experience required.
  • Valid ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(R)(MR)) or ARMRIT certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proficiency in English and ability to complete computer-based training and documentation.
  • Physical ability to handle patient care demands including standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and maintaining manual dexterity.
  • Experience working with diverse patient age groups from neonatal to geriatric.
