We are seeking a thoughtful and engaging Teacher to join our collaborative school community. In this role, you will work with children ranging from 12 months through Pre-K, supporting their growth through play-based learning, strong relationships, and intentional teaching. This is an ideal opportunity for an educator who values connection, enjoys reflective practice, and wants to be part of a team that is deeply invested in both child and teacher development.
Responsibilities:

Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through hands on learning experiences.

Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities aligned with curriculum and the Jewish calendar.

Create a safe, nurturing, and well-organized classroom environment.
Adapt activities to meet the needs of individual learners.

Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Communicate regularly with families through daily updates, photos, and learning documentation.

Participate in family engagement events and school community activities.
Collaborate with teaching teams through regular planning meetings and coaching sessions.

Maintain classroom routines, materials, and compliance with licensing and safety standards.
Qualifications:

Teaching certification from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care OR relevant coursework and experience.

Minimum of 3–9 months of preschool or kindergarten teaching experience.

Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Warm, responsive, and engaging approach with children and families.

Ability to work as part of a reflective, team-oriented environment.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 10:15 am -6:15 pm
