Job Title: Production Clerk
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Schedule:
Monday Thursday: 5:00 AM 3:30 PM
Friday: 5:00 AM 1:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Clerk to support daily production operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are available, inventory is accurate, and production processes run efficiently without delays.
Key Responsibilities

Verify that all necessary materials are available for the production process

Kit and prepare all planned work orders (WOs) for the week to prevent production delays
-
Coordinate with Quality, Planning, and Inventory Control teams on scheduled orders and materials
-
Perform data entry for reports, work orders, and Oracle systems
-
Run daily inventory reports, including on-hand quantities and status updates
-
Generate weekly reports on WIP variances, scrap rates, and aging inventory
-
Conduct cycle counts based on scheduled inventory plans

Investigate and resolve inventory and work order discrepancies

Maintain consistent communication with all departments to support production flow

Ensure timely movement of inventory through transitional locations

Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with GMP standards

Support inventory accuracy and assist other departments with clerical tasks as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
-
12 years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or order picking in a food manufacturing warehouse
-
Strong computer skills, including experience with Oracle, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Excel
-
Experience using RF scan guns

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
