Position Overview

A hospital-based Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit is seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment.

Patient Population

Common diagnoses include:

• COPD

• Pneumonia

• Non-specific abdominal pain

• Cellulitis

• Chest pain (rule-out cardiac)

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience

• Active RN license

• BLS & ACLS required

• Epic experience required

• Must live more than 50 miles from facility

Nurse-to-Patient Ratios

• Days: 1:6

• Nights: 1:7

• Weekends: 1:8

Required Clinical Skills

• MS/Telemetry nursing

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Rapid Response/Code team participation

• Blood product administration

• Central line & PICC line care/management

• Peripheral IV insertion & maintenance

• CVA and seizure disorder management

• Substance withdrawal management

• BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC management

• Oxygen therapy & non-invasive airway support

• Isolation precautions and PPE compliance
