Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, resident-focused environment with a strong therapy department and excellent leadership.
Responsibilities

Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out treatment plans for residents.

Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training in accordance with PT direction.

Document treatment sessions accurately and timely.

Help residents reach their highest level of independence and functional ability.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Participate in care planning and progress assessments.
Qualifications
-
Active PTA license in New York (required).

Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or rehab setting preferred, but not required.

Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented.
