Job DescriptionA leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Planning Manager to lead end-to-end supply planning operations and drive inventory, service, and production performance across a complex supply chain network. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing supply strategies, optimizing planning processes, and partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the supply planning function, ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Manage and improve S&OP/SIOP processes and supply planning performance metrics.
  • Develop production and inventory strategies to support customer demand and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams to align supply plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning accuracy, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of planners.
  • Analyze supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to support business continuity.
  • Utilize ERP and planning systems to improve forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of supply chain, production planning, or supply planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership experience managing supply planning or supply chain teams.
  • ERP system expertise (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Pay Details: $175,000.00 to $185,000.00 per year
